Merchant shop management

A shop is the basic entity of the system, which refers to the merchant and its resource (a website or a mobile application). To accept payments, the merchant resource must meet the following requirements:

  • To be registered in the name of the merchant;
  • To contain information about the goods or services offered by the merchant, as well as about the merchant himself/ herself.

Registering a merchant shop in the system allows the payment service provider to:

  • Identify transactions made on a website or in a mobile application as payments in favor of a merchant;
  • Store the registration data of the merchant's shop in the system for analytical and reporting purposes, as well as for processing financial transactions;
  • Connect and configure payment gateways, set up rates and limits for accepting and processing online payments on the website or in a mobile application;
  • Set up tools and rules for checking transactions for fraud.

Merchant shop management is available to a user with the Account Manager role, who can do the following:

  • View shops;
  • Search for a merchant's shop;
  • View shop details and settings;
  • Edit shop details and settings;
  • Add a shop to a merchant account.
