Apple Pay

The Apple Pay service lets merchants' customers pay for orders using a card linked to their accounts in Apple Wallets. The service allows merchants to accept payments both under their own certificates and under the certificate of the payment service provider.

To enable the service for the payment service provider, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Admin > Settings.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. In the Apple Pay settings section, enter the following parameters provided to your company by Apple:

    1. Apple Pay merchant ID;

    2. Private key of Apple Pay merchant identity certificate;

    3. Apple Pay merchant identity certificate for Apple Pay on the web;

    4. Private key of Apple Pay payment processing certificate;

    5. Apple Pay payment processing certificate;

    6. Domain verification file.

To enable the service for a merchant, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Account Manager > Merchants.

  2. Find a merchant account. If necessary, see Search for a merchant account.

  3. Click Edit in the line of the required merchant.

  4. Activate Apple Pay in the section of the menu tabs available to merchants.

After the service is activated, the merchant can see Apply Pay in the menu.

There are 2 ways to work with Apple Pay:

  1. Enable Apple Pay under the merchant’s own certificates. The merchant receives the certificates themselves and uploads them to the system. For more information, please see the Apple Pay section of the beGateway: Merchant back office manual file.

  2. Enable Apple Pay under the certificate of the payment service provider.
