The Smart Routing service lets you distribute transactions among the available gateways (banks, payment processing systems) by the specified weights. Distribution by weights is based on the transactions amount in the specified currency. When calculating transactions, only payment and authorization transactions are taken into account.
Transaction distribution by weights is available for Shop account level.
This option can be used for distributing the load of transactions among gateways if these gateways have limits for transactions amount processed over a given period.
The calculation of transactions is renewed in the following events:

The start of a new calendar month

The update of the corresponding rule in the Smart Routing system. For example, adding/removing gateways and/or changing the weights ratio.
Before using the functionality, make sure that option Allow to skip failed SmartRouting action is disabled in the shop settings in the SmartRouting tab.
