Visa Alias

Visa Alias is a service for transferring funds from one card to another without a need to know the recipient's card number. The service simplifies P2P payments for users and enhances the clients' engagement and payment conversion.

Visa Alias service relies on mapping card credentials to aliases. The most popular, but not the only possible, alias is a phone number.

The Visa Alias Service management is available to users with Account Manager role.

To activate the service for a merchant’s shop, follow the steps below:

1. Go to Account Manager > Shops.

2. Go to the line of the shop in the list. If required, use Search for a merchant’s shop.

3. Click View to go to the shop settings page.

4. Go to the Gateways tab.

5. Click Edit in the line of the acquirer who provided the required payment gateway.

6. Activate the Visa Alias checkbox and indicate parameters according to the description in the table below.

7. Click Apply to save your changes or cancel them.
