The system does not allow deleting the created business categories, but you can deactivate the active categories. This helps not to show the deactivated categories when creating or editing a shop, but to keep the name of the shop business category in reports.
To activate or deactivate a business category, follow these steps:

Go to Admin > Business Categories.

Click Edit in the row of the required category.

Activate or deactivate the Active checkbox.

Click Apply to save the changes or cancel them.
You will see the deactivated categories in gray after the active ones.
